Earlier today, Representative John Lawrence from Chester County expressed concern over the absence of a scheduled session for the House of Representatives. In his statement, he highlighted the urgency of addressing various important issues facing the General Assembly. "A number of pressing issues stand before the General Assembly," he stated.
Lawrence pointed out that despite being several weeks into the 2023-24 legislative session, no session days have been planned. He emphasized that scheduling is necessary to move forward with legislative matters. "The speaker must schedule days before we can consider legislation," Lawrence noted.
He urged Speaker Mark Rozzi to take action and convene the House promptly. "I call on Speaker (Mark) Rozzi to bring the House into session as soon as possible," Lawrence concluded.
