2nd top-ranked team | Unionville-Chadds Ford School District
UCFSD’s FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics Team, Green Lemons, is advancing to the PA FTC State Championship. On December 18, Green Lemons competed in the Red & Black Qualifier at the Coatesville Area Senior High School. After the 20 matches in the qualification round, Green Lemons entered the semifinals as the 2nd top-ranked team and accepted the invitation from the 1st top-rank team to form an alliance. Their alliance won both semifinal matches and both matches in the finals. Their 259 pts and 253 pts scores in the semifinals are currently the top six and eight scores in the USA, and are a PA record! Green Lemons also won the Motivate Award and a 2nd place Design Award.
