Avon Grove High School issued the following announcement on Apr. 6.
Kalli Albers has been named the Rotary Club Student of the Month for April. She is the daughter of Gary and Jodi Albers.
Kalli’s list of school activities includes Avon Grove Medical Club, Best Buddies, Freshman Mentor Program, NHS and REACT. Kalli has been active in her community with being a volunteer for Project CURE, Brandywine Valley SPCA and Cokesbury Village Retirement Community. Kalli’s had the honor of attending University of Florida’s Global Health Institute, North Carolina State University’s Veterinarian Professions Advisory Center Camp and Nemours Summer High School Student Program. She has received the Presidential Award for Education and achieved High and Distinguished Honors throughout high school. Kalli plans to attend a 4-year university to pursue medicine and would love to work with kids, supporting them as they grow and develop into amazing young adults. Teachers who have influenced her most are Mrs. Creamer, Mrs. Coffman, Mrs. Polin and Ms. Mills.
