Avon Grove High School issued the following announcement on Apr. 4.
Sophia Kaiser has been named the Lions Club Student of the Month for April. She is the daughter of Lisa and Rick Kaiser of Landenberg.
Sophia is active in school with AGPLA, AG Votes (Student Leader), Choir, Humanitarian Club (Communications Officer), Model Youngarts Acting Society, Theater, Tri-M (Treasurer), UNICEF Club (President), and Women’s Choir (Armonia). Sophia is a volunteer at Treetops Kitty Café and she participates in Talleyville Travelers travel softball. Sophia’s list of awards includes French IV Award, AP Scholar with Distinction and she has achieved Distinguished Honors throughout high school. Sophia plans to attend Penn State University for Security and Risk Analysis and hopes to work in Security Studies or Journalism. Teachers she has been most influenced by are Mrs. Penn, Mrs. Polin, Mr. Wimer and Mrs. Wilcox.
