Avon Grove High School issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.
Connor Reger has been named the Rotary Club Student of the Month for January. He is the son of Michael and Kathy Reger of West Grove.
Connor’s list of school activities includes Junior Class (Treasurer), Student Council, Freshman Mentor Program (FMP), Indoor & Outdoor Track, Computer Science Honors Society, NHS, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Diversity Book Club. Connor has been active in the community by volunteering at the Korean Culture Camp, Social Emotional Learning Summer Retreat and AGRA Track Camp. Connor has been accepted into the Computer Science Honor Society (CSHS), National Honors Society (NHS) and academically he has achieved Distinguished Honors throughout high school. Connor is interested in multiple career fields such as Business, Engineering and Computer Science. The teachers who have most influenced him are Ms. Cahill, Mr. Horning, Mr. Pizzini and Mrs. Young.
