Avon Grove High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 7.
Tanvi Joshi has been named the Rotary Club Student of the Month for October. She is the daughter of Radhika and Samarth Joshi of West Grove.
Tanvi’s list of school activities includes Orchestra, Model UN, Art Society, UNICEF Club, AG Votes, LEO Club, SEL and Freshman Mentor Program. Tanvi has been active in her community with Penn Township Easter Egg Hunt, Penn Township Fall Festival and AGL Teen Volunteers. Tanvi’s list of honors include receiving the Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence 2018 & 2019, 2nd Prize in Indian Dance Competition (North America Region), FSEMS Spelling Bee Champion, 3rd Place in Chester County Spelling Bee, represented FSEMS at the CCIU STEM challenge competition and she has achieved Distinguished Honors throughout high school. Tanvi is interested in an International Relations major and eventually a career in law. Tanvi has been inspired by Ms. Cahill for her wonderful teaching style in AP Human Geography and AP World, and her consistent support of Tanvi’s endeavors.
