Avon Grove High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 1.
Nicholas Kuech has been named the Lions Club Student of the Month for October. He is the son of Tabatha Sedio of Avondale and Robert Kuech of Parkesburg.
Nicholas’s list of school activities includes Vice President of his Freshman Class, Communications Officer of his Sophomore Class, Student Council (9th & 10th), AGTV and Computer Science Honor Society (11th & 12th). Nicholas has helped teach PLE and AGI students how to program and code as part of Code.org, and has taught high school students coding and future careers it can benefit. He has also helped produce videos for the District (i.e. Holiday Holla 2020 and My Name, My Identity). Academically, Nicholas has achieved Distinguished Honors throughout high school. Nicholas plans to attend Penn State University and major in Cyber Security. Teachers who have influenced Nicholas the most are Mr. Christy, Mr. Jones and Mrs. Shrake.
