Bethany Presbyterian Church recently issued the following announcement.
Women's Group
Wednesdays @ 10:30 a.m.
and
Wednesdays @ 6:00 p.m.
Beginning September 8, join us in person or on Zoom
for a hybrid, 11 week study of Tish Warren's book,
"Liturgy of the Ordinary: sacred practices in everyday life".
It is the small practices in life (our liturgy) that form us as Christ's disciples. Warren shows us how to attend to God's presence in our everyday habits and practices. She relates these practices to Sunday worship and spiritual practice so you may "discover the holiness of your every day."
"As Christians,...we are marked from our first waking moment by an identity that is given to us by grace:
an identity that is deeper and more real than any other identity we will don that day" (Harrison, 19).
