Jennersville Hospital-Tower Health recently issued the following announcement.
According to the Chester County Department of Drug & Alcohol Services, 1 in 5 high school students have abused prescription drugs. Help keep our kids and our community safe by disposing of your unused and expired medications at this socially-distanced event. Masks required.
Accepted Items:
• Prescription medications (Schedule II-V controlled and noncontrolled substances)*
• Over-the-counter medications*
Not Accepted:
• Illegal drugs
• Needles
• Lotions & liquids
• Inhalers
• Aerosol cans
• Thermometers
• Hydrogen peroxide
*Common forms such as tablets, capsules, ointments, & patches.
