West Groove Fire Company issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
10 members of the WGFC traveled out to Lancaster to participate in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in remembrance of the 343 firefighters who perished that day. The climb benefits the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation. Participants climb 110 flights of stairs, some in full turnout gear.
