West Grove Borough, PA issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
With a heavy heart I am informing the Borough residents of the loss of a beloved member of our community. Saturday August 8, 2020 Mr. Dominic Ruffini past away at the age of 92. Pictured from left to right are Mayor Stephen Black, Mr. Ruffini, John Ruffini and Senator Andy Dinnaman. The photo was taken May 26, 2018 where Mr. Ruffini was honored as the Grand Marshall of the Memorial Day Parade which he was instrumental in starting.
Mr. Ruffini lived and worked in West Grove for most of his life and served on Borough Council for many years. Mr. Ruffini will be missed by many, including myself as some of my earliest childhood memories are him putting the shaving cream on my neck and sideburns and pulling out the straight razor to finish the cut!! The flags at the Borough Office were lowered to half staff, as directed by Mayor Black, until Friday at sunset to honor Mr. Ruffini. RIP Sir
