Gaithersburg home prices fall in February 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2018 in Gaithersburg fell by $10,100 while total sales decreased by 32.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2018, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $400,000 - a 2.5% decrease over the $410,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Gaithersburg in February 2017.

The median sales tax in Gaithersburg for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,166, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for February 2018.
