Avon Grove Library issued the following announcement on July 24.
SCHEDULED PICKUP ENDS JULY 31 ... but you can still get library books on hold, just like before!
Now that the library is open, there has been less and less use of our Scheduled Pickup Service for books, CDs, and DVDs on hold. Because of this, we’re discontinuing the scheduled service at the end of the month.
Starting August 1, if you have items on hold available, you won’t need to make an appointment to get them. Just bring in your library card anytime during our open hours. We’ll check your items out to you just like we did before the shutdown. Thank you for your understanding!
