West Grove Borough, Pa issued the following announcement on April 14.
To my fellow residents of West Grove Village
We are no longer isolated from Coronavirus. Chester County Health Department confirmed that there is now someone who has tested positive for the virus within the community. We can hope and pray this person's symptoms are mild and don't spread. The reality is, if there is one, there's likely more that carry the virus. I ask you to follow the guidelines dictated by the federal, state and county government of washing your hands, wearing disinfectant, wearing gloves and a mouth mask, just like social estrangement. I know social distancing is probably the hardest, spring has come: we've had some pleasant days, people want to be outside or have a picnic. I understand, I really do, but for your safety and that of your neighbors, take into account social distancing and take all precautions. We like having you around. Stay safe and stay separated
Sincerely
Mayor Stephen Black
