The Republican Committee of Chester County has endorsed Marty Young for the U.S. Congress in Pennsylvania’s 6th Congressional District. The endorsement, announced on December 17, 2025, signals strong support for Young’s candidacy against incumbent Chrissy Houlahan in the upcoming 2026 general election.
Raffi Terzian, MD, Chair of the Republican Committee of Chester County, expressed confidence in Young’s ability to unite voters with a focus on community priorities. “We are proud to endorse Marty Young for Congress because he embodies the principles of service, leadership, and a relentless commitment to getting results for our community,” Terzian said.
Marty Young is a seasoned professional with deep ties to Pennsylvania. He is a West Point graduate and serves as an Army National Guard Lieutenant Colonel and Chaplain. His career as a turnaround executive has seen him stabilize over 100 companies and save thousands of jobs.
Young criticized Rep. Chrissy Houlahan’s focus on national policy over local issues, stating that residents deserve a representative focused on solving problems rather than politics. He emphasized his campaign’s focus on addressing cost-of-living challenges, healthcare system reform, job growth through small business support, and fiscal discipline in Washington.
“With this early endorsement from the Republican Committee of Chester County, we’re firing on all cylinders,” said Young. “Chester County deserves a Congressman who shows up, listens, and gets results.”
Marty Young for Congress (PA-06) aims to bring change to Pennsylvania’s 6th Congressional District by prioritizing local families’ needs and ensuring economic stability.
